Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

OVERVIEW

Welcome to MedicalAmboss.

Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms β€œMedicalAmboss,” β€œwe,” β€œus,” and β€œour” refer to MedicalAmboss, which operates this online store.

MedicalAmboss sells digital educational products only, including medical courses, educational videos, eBooks, PDF materials, downloadable files, and other digital learning resources.

Our online store is powered by Shopify.

By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order, completing payment, downloading content, or accessing any digital product, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Refund Policy, and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services or purchase our products.

SECTION 1 – ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT

By using our Services, you confirm that:

  • You are legally permitted to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction or have the required consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • All information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity occurring through your account.
  • You will not share your account, download links, access credentials, or purchased materials with unauthorized persons.

MedicalAmboss reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

SECTION 2 – DIGITAL PRODUCTS ONLY

MedicalAmboss sells digital products only.

Products may include, but are not limited to:

  • Online medical courses
  • Educational video lectures
  • PDF materials
  • eBooks
  • Digital books
  • Downloadable educational resources
  • Audio files
  • Subtitle files
  • Digital study materials
  • Other electronically delivered educational content

No physical products are sold or shipped.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the product title, description, included materials, format, compatibility information, previews, and other available product information before completing a purchase.

Product images, screenshots, previews, file organization, or interface appearance may vary depending on the device, browser, operating system, software, or method used to access the content.

MedicalAmboss may update, modify, reorganize, replace, or discontinue digital content where reasonably necessary.

SECTION 3 – ORDERS AND PURCHASE ACCEPTANCE

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected digital product.

An order is considered accepted after payment has been successfully authorized or processed and the order has been approved by MedicalAmboss.

MedicalAmboss reserves the right to:

  • Reject or cancel suspicious orders.
  • Reject transactions suspected of fraud or unauthorized payment activity.
  • Limit purchase quantities.
  • Correct pricing or listing errors.
  • Request additional verification before providing access.
  • Cancel an order before digital access is provided if payment cannot be verified.

Because our products are digital, orders cannot be canceled after the digital product, download link, access link, account access, cloud-storage access, course access, or other delivery method has been issued or made available to the customer, except where required by applicable law.

SECTION 4 – PRICING AND PAYMENT

All prices shown on the website may change without prior notice.

The price charged for an order will be the price displayed and accepted during checkout, subject to the correction of obvious pricing or technical errors.

By placing an order, you agree to provide accurate and complete:

  • Billing information
  • Contact information
  • Email information
  • Payment information

You authorize MedicalAmboss and its authorized payment providers to process the payment associated with your purchase.

Applicable taxes, if any, may be calculated during checkout.

MedicalAmboss may temporarily hold or delay an order when additional payment verification is necessary.

SECTION 5 – DIGITAL DELIVERY

All products sold by MedicalAmboss are delivered electronically.

Digital delivery may occur through one or more of the following methods:

  • Download link
  • Email delivery
  • Customer account access
  • Online course access
  • Cloud-storage link
  • Digital library access
  • Other electronic delivery methods

A digital product is considered delivered once MedicalAmboss has:

  • Sent the customer a valid access or download link;
  • Made the purchased content available through the customer's account;
  • Provided access to the relevant digital files or course; or
  • Otherwise made the purchased digital content electronically available to the customer.

Actual downloading, opening, viewing, or use of the files is not required for delivery to be considered completed once valid access has been made available.

Customers are responsible for providing a correct email address and maintaining access to their email account and customer account.

Customers are also responsible for ensuring that they have a suitable internet connection, compatible device, adequate storage capacity, required software, and appropriate technical environment necessary to access downloaded materials.

Delivery may occasionally be delayed because of:

  • Payment verification
  • Fraud screening
  • Technical maintenance
  • Internet or hosting interruptions
  • Incorrect customer information
  • Temporary system issues
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

A temporary delivery delay does not automatically create a right to cancellation or refund.

SECTION 6 – ALL SALES FINAL – NO RETURNS, EXCHANGES, CANCELLATIONS, OR REFUNDS

Digital Products – Final Sale

Because MedicalAmboss sells non-physical digital products that can be accessed, downloaded, copied, or consumed immediately after delivery, all sales are final.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS, EXCHANGES, CANCELLATIONS, OR REFUNDS FOR DIGITAL PRODUCTS AFTER PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OR AFTER ACCESS TO THE DIGITAL CONTENT HAS BEEN PROVIDED.

This policy applies regardless of whether the customer:

  • Has downloaded all files.
  • Has downloaded only part of the files.
  • Has not yet downloaded the files after receiving valid access.
  • Changes their mind after purchasing.
  • No longer needs or wants the product.
  • Purchases the wrong course or product.
  • Purchases a duplicate product by mistake.
  • Finds the material too advanced or too basic.
  • Does not have enough storage space.
  • Has internet connectivity problems.
  • Uses an incompatible device, browser, operating system, or software.
  • Fails to review the product description before purchasing.
  • Does not complete or use the purchased course.
  • Dislikes the presentation, teaching style, organization, or format of the material.
  • Later finds similar content from another provider.
  • Experiences a temporary technical problem that can reasonably be resolved.

Customers are therefore strongly encouraged to review all available product information before completing payment.

Immediate Digital Delivery

By purchasing a digital product from MedicalAmboss, you expressly request and consent to the delivery of digital content as soon as reasonably possible after payment approval.

Where permitted by applicable law, you acknowledge that once digital delivery or access begins, any statutory cancellation or withdrawal right that may otherwise apply to non-delivered purchases may be lost or limited.

Technical Problems

A technical problem does not automatically qualify for a refund.

If access cannot be obtained because of a technical issue, the customer must contact MedicalAmboss so that we can attempt to:

  • Restore access;
  • Replace a broken or expired link;
  • Provide another valid download method;
  • Correct an account-access issue; or
  • Otherwise restore reasonable access to the purchased digital content.

Providing replacement access or correcting the delivery issue will be considered fulfillment of the original order and will not constitute a new purchase or create a refund entitlement.

Temporary technical issues, internet interruptions, browser problems, device incompatibility, insufficient storage capacity, or other customer-side technical issues do not create a right to a refund.

Duplicate Charges

If the same transaction is unintentionally charged more than once because of a confirmed payment-processing error, MedicalAmboss may reverse or correct the verified duplicate charge.

Correction of a verified duplicate payment is considered a payment correction and is not considered a refund of the purchased digital product.

The original valid purchase remains subject to these Terms and our Refund Policy.

Incorrect Product Delivery

If MedicalAmboss accidentally provides a digital product that is completely different from the product shown in the customer's confirmed order, our normal remedy will be to provide access to the correct purchased product.

Delivery of the correct product resolves the fulfillment issue and does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

Where a different remedy is specifically required by applicable law, MedicalAmboss will comply only to the extent legally required.

Legal Exceptions

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or waived under applicable law.

Where applicable law specifically requires a refund, cancellation right, or other remedy despite these Terms, MedicalAmboss will comply only to the extent legally required.

SECTION 7 – ACKNOWLEDGMENT BEFORE PURCHASE

By completing checkout and submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree that:

  1. You are purchasing a digital product and not a physical product.
  2. Digital content may become accessible shortly after payment approval.
  3. You have reviewed the product title, description, format, and available information before purchasing.
  4. You understand the format and digital nature of the product.
  5. You request delivery of the digital content without unnecessary delay.
  6. You understand that providing valid access constitutes digital delivery.
  7. You understand that actual downloading or use of the files is not required for delivery to be considered complete.
  8. Once digital content has been delivered or valid access has been provided, the transaction is final and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

SECTION 8 – CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers must use purchased digital content solely for lawful personal educational purposes.

You agree that you will not:

  • Share purchased files with other persons.
  • Share download or cloud-storage links.
  • Share account credentials.
  • Upload purchased files to public or private file-sharing services for redistribution.
  • Redistribute course materials.
  • Copy materials for commercial distribution.
  • Resell purchased materials.
  • Rent or sublicense digital products.
  • Transfer your account or purchased access to another person.
  • Circumvent security or access restrictions.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to our website or systems.
  • Systematically download or scrape website content through automated tools unless authorized.
  • Use purchased materials in a manner that violates applicable intellectual property rights or these Terms.

Violation of these conditions may result in suspension or termination of access without refund, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

SECTION 9 – LICENSE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership of intellectual property rights in the content.

A purchase provides the customer with a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the purchased content for personal educational purposes, subject to these Terms and any additional license restrictions applicable to the content.

Content associated with MedicalAmboss may include:

  • Videos
  • PDFs
  • Images
  • Graphics
  • Website content
  • Text
  • Software
  • Study materials
  • Logos
  • Course interfaces
  • Other digital materials

You may not reproduce, commercially distribute, resell, sublicense, or otherwise exploit protected material unless legally authorized.

SECTION 10 – DIGITAL ACCESS AND DOWNLOAD RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for accessing and securely storing their purchased materials while valid access is available.

Where products are delivered through external storage providers or cloud links, customers should download and securely retain permitted copies of purchased materials within the available access period.

MedicalAmboss does not guarantee indefinite hosting or permanent availability of every download link unless specifically stated in the product description or purchase terms.

Loss or deletion of a downloaded file from the customer's device or storage account does not create a refund entitlement.

Failure to download, save, open, or access the purchased content after valid digital access has been provided does not create a right to a refund.

Customers are responsible for maintaining suitable internet access, device compatibility, storage capacity, and software required to access the purchased materials.

SECTION 11 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

MedicalAmboss may use third-party services for:

  • Payment processing
  • Website hosting
  • Cloud storage
  • Email delivery
  • Analytics
  • Ecommerce infrastructure
  • Fraud prevention
  • Digital content delivery

MedicalAmboss is not responsible for temporary interruptions, outages, delays, or changes caused by independent third-party systems outside our reasonable control.

Use of third-party services may also be governed by the terms and privacy policies of those providers.

Temporary interruption of a third-party service does not automatically create a right to cancellation or refund where access can reasonably be restored, replaced, or otherwise provided.

SECTION 12 – SHOPIFY PLATFORM

MedicalAmboss uses Shopify ecommerce technology to operate portions of its online store and checkout infrastructure.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, customers purchase products from MedicalAmboss, not from Shopify.

MedicalAmboss is responsible for matters relating to the products and fulfillment offered through its store, subject to these Terms.

The use of Shopify technology does not make Shopify the seller of MedicalAmboss products.

SECTION 13 – PRIVACY

Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.

By using our Services, you acknowledge that information may be processed as necessary to:

  • Process and verify orders.
  • Deliver digital products.
  • Verify payments.
  • Prevent fraud.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Maintain delivery and access records.
  • Respond to payment disputes.
  • Operate and secure our Services.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

Please review our Privacy Policy for additional information.

SECTION 14 – USER FEEDBACK

If you voluntarily submit reviews, suggestions, comments, testimonials, or other feedback to MedicalAmboss, you authorize us to use that feedback for legitimate business and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

You confirm that any content you submit does not violate the rights of another person.

SECTION 15 – ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS

Our website may occasionally contain:

  • Typographical errors
  • Pricing errors
  • Product description errors
  • Technical errors
  • Availability errors
  • Incorrect images or formatting

MedicalAmboss reserves the right to correct any error, inaccuracy, or omission and to update product or website information at any time.

If an error is identified before digital delivery or access has been provided, MedicalAmboss may, at its sole discretion and where permitted by applicable law, cancel the affected order and correct the transaction.

If digital delivery or access has already been provided, the purchase remains subject to our All Sales Final – No Returns, Exchanges, Cancellations, or Refunds Policy.

If an error results in the customer receiving a digital product different from the product shown in the confirmed order, MedicalAmboss will correct the fulfillment issue by providing access to the correct purchased product.

Providing the correct product constitutes fulfillment of the original order and does not create a right to a refund, except where required by applicable law.

SECTION 16 – PROHIBITED USE

You may not use our website or Services to:

  • Violate applicable laws.
  • Commit payment fraud.
  • Use stolen or unauthorized payment methods.
  • Infringe intellectual property rights.
  • Introduce malware or malicious code.
  • Attempt unauthorized system access.
  • Circumvent website security.
  • Reverse engineer protected systems.
  • Abuse promotional offers.
  • Scrape protected website content without authorization.
  • Share customer accounts or access credentials.
  • Resell or redistribute purchased digital content without authorization.

MedicalAmboss may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

SECTION 17 – PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS

If you believe there is a genuine payment, delivery, or access problem, we encourage you to contact MedicalAmboss support before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

MedicalAmboss may maintain relevant records relating to:

  • Orders
  • Payments
  • Payment authorizations
  • Billing information
  • Customer contact information
  • Digital delivery
  • Download or access links
  • Account access
  • Customer communications
  • Fulfillment
  • Policy acceptance
  • Applicable Terms and Refund Policy

If a payment dispute, chargeback, reversal, fraud investigation, or payment inquiry is initiated, MedicalAmboss may provide relevant transaction and fulfillment evidence to the payment processor, card network, bank, financial institution, digital wallet provider, Shopify, fraud-prevention provider, or dispute-resolution provider, where permitted by applicable law and applicable payment-provider rules.

Relevant evidence may include, where available:

  • Order information
  • Payment authorization records
  • Transaction identifiers
  • Billing information
  • Delivery confirmation
  • Digital access information
  • Download-link delivery
  • Course or account access information
  • Customer correspondence
  • Fulfillment records
  • Terms accepted at the time of purchase
  • Refund Policy applicable to the transaction

Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback does not automatically establish that the customer is entitled to a refund.

If payment for an order is reversed, charged back, canceled, disputed, or determined to be unauthorized, access to the associated digital products may be suspended or terminated.

Accounts associated with payment disputes determined to involve fraud, unauthorized payment use, or abuse may also be restricted from making future purchases, where permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits any rights available to customers under applicable law or applicable payment-network rules.

SECTION 18 – EDUCATIONAL USE DISCLAIMER

MedicalAmboss products are provided for educational and informational purposes.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, digital educational materials do not replace:

  • Professional medical judgment
  • Patient-specific clinical assessment
  • Applicable institutional policies
  • Current clinical guidelines
  • Professional licensing requirements

Users remain responsible for verifying medical information before applying it in professional or clinical settings.

SECTION 19 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our Services and digital products are provided on an β€œAS IS” and β€œAS AVAILABLE” basis.

MedicalAmboss does not guarantee that:

  • The website will always operate without interruption.
  • Every product will work on every device or software configuration.
  • Third-party hosting or download services will always be available.
  • Digital content will meet every customer's individual expectations or educational needs.

Nothing in this section excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

SECTION 20 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MedicalAmboss will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use or inability to use our Services or digital products.

This may include, where legally permitted:

  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of business opportunities
  • Loss of data
  • Business interruption
  • Device incompatibility
  • Loss resulting from failure to securely retain downloaded files

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

SECTION 21 – INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless MedicalAmboss, its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, and partners from claims or losses resulting from:

  • Your unlawful use of our Services;
  • Unauthorized redistribution of purchased content;
  • Your violation of these Terms; or
  • Your infringement of third-party rights.

SECTION 22 – SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

MedicalAmboss may suspend or terminate access to its Services if reasonably necessary because of:

  • Fraudulent activity
  • Unauthorized payment activity
  • Chargeback abuse
  • Account sharing
  • Content redistribution
  • Security violations
  • Material violation of these Terms

Where access is terminated because of the customer's violation of these Terms, no refund will be provided except where required by applicable law.

If payment associated with digital content is reversed, canceled, charged back, or determined to be unauthorized, access to that content may also be suspended or terminated.

Suspension or termination following a payment reversal or chargeback does not create a new right to access the associated digital products.

SECTION 23 – SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent legally permitted.

The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

SECTION 24 – NO WAIVER

Failure by MedicalAmboss to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.

SECTION 25 – ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement between you and MedicalAmboss regarding your use of the Services and purchase of digital products.

In the event of an inconsistency between these Terms and another policy, the provisions applicable to the specific subject matter will apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

SECTION 26 – GOVERNING LAW

These Terms will be governed and interpreted according to the laws applicable to MedicalAmboss and the transaction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that may apply to the customer.

Disputes will be resolved before courts or authorities having lawful jurisdiction over the matter.

Nothing in this section is intended to exclude or restrict any jurisdictional or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

SECTION 27 – CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

MedicalAmboss may modify these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms become effective when published on our website unless another effective date is specified.

The Terms applicable to a completed purchase will remain subject to any mandatory legal rights applicable to that transaction.

Where permitted by applicable law, continued use of our Services after publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
